Our Farm & Future

Humboldt Springs Farm has previously operated as a seasonal U-Pick experience, welcoming visitors to gather their own fresh blackberries straight from the field. While our blueberry plants are still maturing, we look forward to the seasons ahead when they will provide an abundant harvest. In addition to our berry patches, our orchard offers a variety of apples and pears for our community to enjoy.

Beginning in 2026, we are excited to expand and grow Humboldt Springs Farm into a year-round destination for local, homegrown, and handcrafted goods. Plans are underway to build a farm stand where visitors can purchase pre-packaged berries for convenience, along with cottage-prepared baked goods, fruit preserves, fresh vegetables, and a thoughtfully curated selection of gifts and décor.

Looking ahead to 2027, we plan to expand our berry fields and introduce a lavender field in the spring. Alongside this, we will establish a colony of bees to support pollination and produce our own honey—because nothing compares to truly local honey. Our beeswax will also be used to create handcrafted candles, soaps, lotions, and more. By the fall, we hope to welcome families to a pumpkin patch experience complete with hayrides and guided tours of the farm, including visits to the historic pre-Civil War Humboldt cemetery.

By 2028, we anticipate our first U-Pick lavender season. With the natural beauty of the farm as a backdrop, we will also offer photographers the opportunity to book private sessions during dedicated time slots, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting for capturing special moments.

At every stage, our goal is to grow Humboldt Springs Farm into a place where community, tradition, and simple joys come together—season after season.
